I have always been interested in the heritage of Leicestershire and Rutland and the churches seemed an ideal choice in that they have been important to our local communities for over a a thousand years. Their future for some looks increasingly difficult in our modern society and they could all do with our support. Hopefully this website will result in more people becoming interested in their churches, chapels or local history.

As well as this site which we run as a ‘project’ we also are involved with other heritage groups in the county supplying our technical knowledge and photography\graphics to enable them to gain interest to a wider audience.
